Think of poetry fused with music with a beat...with a twist of lime. I like my music raw. It's all about the lyrics to me....I would call my music "inner landscape" music, if there were a genre called that. My songs are written from life's experiences......happy, sad, elated, lonely, joyful, bitter, sweet, or a combination of all the above. I kinda think that if lyrics make perfect sense, where's the poetry? I write songs because I just gotta write songs....
For a couple of years I've performed solo and as a duo called "dazeofgrace" across southern B.C. I have 5 songs in a music library for film/TV usage. One song (Long, Long Way) is in an indie film documentary about a homeless, alcoholic woman (redemptive).
"Love Never Sleeps" was chosen to be on compilation CD Groupies Suck Vol. 9 with No Cover magazine (distributed thru Barnes and Noble, etc. nationally Jan. 2007)
